Course Description:
 Ballet Training and Conditioning 3,4 is the second year course for the dance student. Students develop cardiovascular endurance, alignment, turn out, core strength, and flexibility through a variety of dance conditioning systems including pilates, yoga, and Progressing Ballet Technique. It connects their physical ability with their performance skills and their ability to investigate and solve personal, physical dance challenges. They develop an expanded knowledge of training techniques and vocabulary. Students conduct research and analyze various techniques to improve dance skills. Students perform ballet repertoire integrating a professional level of rehearsal etiquette, protocols, technical skill and leadership. Students participate in a final performance showcase and reflect on best practices throughout the semester.
