The Building and Construction Trades industry sector engages students in an integrated program of academic learning, career
exploration, and technical-skill development in the building and construction trades.
Both of the career pathways offered in this industry emphasize processes, systems, and the way in which structures are built.
Knowledge and skills are acquired in sequential, standards- based courses that include hands-on, project-based, and work-based
instruction.
