Notes:
 This course satisfies the Group 4 (Experimental Sciences) requirement for the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. It is available at both the Standard (SL) and Higher (HL) Level.
Course Description:
 Students in this course are introduced to all phases of product design, from the first kernel of an idea through to the finished, manufactured product. There is an equal focus on theory and practical investigative work, and the designated area of emphasis is CAD/CAM design. The course syllabus, which is prescribed by the International Baccalaureate Organisation, prepares students for the IB Design Technology SL assessment.
