Course Description:
 Bio-animatronics is a teacher facilitated project-based learning experience for students. It is heavily based on laboratory exploration which will account for 60-70% of the course. Students study topics at the theoretical level then apply their knowledge to solving problems in the “Maker-space” classroom. Students will use advanced technology in the field of animatronic robotic devices to study, understand, and replicate human function. Their programming skill set will be implemented and refined through application and product creation. Products will be focused around bio-medical technology and devices to improve human conditions. Students will demonstrate the skills and products they have created in a final portfolio review and assessment. Students will receive industry standard certifications based on their portfolios.
