Such positions include: Producer, Stage Manager, Technical Director and Master Carpenter. Due to the nature of the production process, and as outlined in the California Department of Education State Standards, this class may often require students to participate in extra rehearsals and performances beyond the school day. Finally, throughout the year, students will be exposed to Technical Theatre achievements via live presentations and recorded works. After the viewing of these productions, students will achieve an understanding of how to be a drama critic as they analyze the design choices made in the show they experienced. | |
