Course Description:
 Students will explore visual and media literacy while experimenting with artistic expression across various media. They will develop characters, settings, and narratives using images, sounds, and text. Through technology, students will capture and edit media elements to create stories, incorporating sound effects to enhance mood and convey key ideas. They will also explore different viewpoints and composition techniques to effectively communicate their narratives to an audience. This course fosters individual expression, encourages immersion in characters and settings, and promotes thoughtful responses to media artworks. Engaging activities, such as collage creation, audio descriptions, and sharing artwork within the school community, will nurture students’ creative skills and deepen their understanding of the messages conveyed through media arts.
