Course Description:
 Students will further explore and develop their understanding of visual and media literacy while experimenting with artistic expression across various media. They will create and refine characters, settings, and narratives using images, sounds, and text. Students will use technology to capture and edit media elements and create sound effects to enhance mood to convey a story and main idea. By exploring different viewpoints and composition techniques, students will communicate their ideas and stories to an audience. Through engaging activities such as creating comic strips, animations, videos, or series of images, they will express creativity and expand their artistic skills. Students will add words and shapes to images, capture pictures from various perspectives, find relevant images for storytelling, and record audio for storytelling or podcasting. They will analyze media artworks, interpret meaning and significance, share artwork, receive feedback, and make revisions. By the end of the course, students will describe and interpret their own media artworks, understand the intentions behind media artworks, and effectively communicate ideas and stories through their creations.
