Course Description: | |
Students will generate artistic ideas and explore various approaches inspired by personal experiences and the work of others. They will develop their ability to use art vocabulary to describe their artistic decisions and create artworks aligned with artistic goals and intended audiences. Through practice, exploration, and collaboration, students will enhance their media arts skills and innovative problem-solving approaches using different techniques, tools, materials, and forms. They will learn to respond to their surroundings, personal objects, and meaningful places, creating expressive artwork that reflects their experiences. Students will also gain knowledge about selecting safe and effective materials and understanding the impact of presentation formats on the audience’s experience. They will analyze evidence, compare interpretations, and evaluate media artworks based on formal elements, social contexts, and production processes. By exploring the influence of artworks on beliefs, values, and behaviors, students will connect them to personal, social, and community life. They will engage responsibly with media arts tools and environments, considering ethics, rules, and media literacy. | |
