Course Description:
 

This honors-level course represents the second year of a two-year (mandatory) sequence of courses that prepares students to take the IB Chemistry HL (Higher Level) exam. This second year of study provides more in-depth instruction in the principles of chemistry, with a particular focus on organic chemistry. Students in this course will perform laboratory experiments, create group projects, and demonstrate their knowledge of fundamental chemistry concepts, both orally and in writing. This course satisfies the Group 4 (Experimental Sciences) requirement for the International Baccalaureate diploma.
