Course Description:
 

This college prep course forms the first year of a two-year sequence of courses that prepares students to take the IB Chemistry HL (Higher Level) exam. In this first year of study, students gain insight into the principles and concepts of chemistry and organic chemistry—the chemical and physical properties of materials in our environment and how they interact. This course satisfies the Group 4 (Experimental Sciences) requirement for the International Baccalaureate diploma.
