 These courses are intended to be used as an extra support period for English Learners. These courses are NOT intended to be used in lieu of the grade-level course.
Course Description:
 This course continues instruction begun in ESL Foundations in Reading 1,2 and is designed to improve the English-language reading skills of students enrolled in ESL Literacy 3,4 courses. Students in this course receive progressive instruction in syllabication, cueing systems, vocabulary development, and spelling.
