| Course Description: |
| | This one-semester course provides a strong foundation
of the important institutions, concepts, principles and
practices of economics using ASL for instruction.
Instruction focuses on economic concepts to reinforce
the main idea that the United States operate a free
enterprise system by comparing economic systems.
Students will learn both basic macroeconomics and
microeconomics concepts. They will apply mathematical
concepts and methods using tables, charts, and graphs
to understand the relationship between economic
variables. At the conclusion of this course, students will
have learned the foundational economic principles and
concepts, and they will be prepared to become informed
and contributing citizens that can participate in the
American economic process. |
