Course Description:
 Mariachi 3,4 teaches the musical concepts and technique of performing mariachi music at an early intermediate level. In this course, students increase their knowledge and analysis of music notation and musical vocabulary, and continue to refine their pitch accuracy, vocal/instrumental tone, and performance skills. Students perform major and minor scales, chord progressions, and additional repertoire in a variety of styles. Students interact with music through composing, improvising, performing, analyzing, evaluating performances, and connecting to music through describing the history and context of mariachi music.
