Course Description:
	STRANDS EMPHASIZED Earth science Life science Physical science Engineering In this general science course students learn concepts in physical, life, and earth sciences. Students conduct experiments utilizing appropriate tools, technology, and graphs and communicate their conclusions orally and in writing. Students continue to develop their abilities to conduct inquiry, create explanations based on evidence, and understand the nature of science. Students use the concepts of patterns, structure and function, and systems to explore and build their understanding of science.
