Course Description:
	Students enrolled in the Dual Language Program at Golden Hill K-8 will receive English Language Arts and Spanish Language Arts within a two-period humanities block. English learners will receive Designated ELD within this course. The bilingually-authorized teacher will incorporate the four domains of language arts: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, utilizing the California common core standards for English and Spanish Language Arts to instruct students in rigorous integrated content incorporating History/Social Studies instruction and explicit language instruction (English/Spanish).
