Course Description:
 This is the third year of a sequential series of dance courses designed for students wishing to refine their skills in modern and folk dance using the state’s physical education content standards for High School Course 3D. The purpose of the course is to offer students an intensive, advanced experience in an activity they may wish to pursue for lifelong enjoyment. Students will analyze the role of social interaction in the successful participation in, and enjoyment of, modern and folk dance activities, and learn how to select and modify these activities to allow for participation by younger children, the elderly, and individuals with special needs.
