Course Description: |
| This course introduces students to the world of marketing, both theoretical and practical. Students learn marketing principles and practices, become aware of the fundamentals of world economics, and prepare themselves for both careers and higher education. This is the first-level course in a sequence of two designed to fully prepare the student for marketing positions in a wide variety of settings, including small business, corporate, and nonprofit. It is recommended that students plan to participate in at least two of the three courses in order to become proficient in the competencies required in the field. |
