| This course provides the grade 5 or grade 6 student with a common core of musical knowledge through experience-based music involvement and balanced musical study. The course stresses participation through active listening and hands-on musical activities. A fundamental knowledge of what music is and what makes music is essential in the education of the grade 5 or grade 6 student. | |
