 Approved for Crawford, Lincoln, Scripps Ranch, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA), and all schools in the Kearny and San Diego High Educational Complexes. Other schools may not offer this course without prior approval from the Interdivisional Curriculum Committee.

 Dance/Fine Arts 1,2 with a grade of C or better, or teacher recommendation

 The state-mandated Fitnessgram test may not be administered as part of this course.
Course Description:
 This course continues instruction begun in Dance/F.A. 1,2. Students work on refining the skills and dance techniques they learned in the introductory course, and expand their knowledge of performance, abstract dance forms, staging, and rhythm. Students also are introduced to the basic principles and techniques of choreographic design and begin work on an original choreography for performance.
