Course Description:
	English 9 builds upon the students� prior knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, word usage, and mechanics of writing, and includes the four aspects of language use: reading, writing, expressive and receptive communication skills using ASL for instruction. Various genres of literature, including expository and informational materials, are introduced. Written compositions in a variety of genres are often linked to reading selections.
