Cosmetology and Barbering 3,4 (2873, 2874)    - PILOT COURSE -

 This is a pilot course for Garfield High School. Other schools may not offer this course without prior approval from the Interdivisional Curriculum Committee.

Course Description:
 This capstone level course is designed to build on the knowledge and skills acquired in Cosmetology and Barbering 1, 2. Students will learn advanced theory and practice hands-on skills (on mannequins) in the areas of cosmetology, barbering, manicuring, and aesthetician. Course content will also include information on further educational requirements for licensure in the state of California as well as job search and employability skills. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Cosmetology and Barbering 1, 2.
