Course Description:
 AP Physics II is equivalent the second semester of an introductory, algebra-based college physics course. This course provides teachers with time to foster deep conceptual understanding through student-centered, inquiry-based instruction. Twenty-five percent of instructional time is spend in laboratory work. The course explores such topics as fluid statics and dynamics; thermodynamics with kinetic theory; PV diagrams and probability; electrostatics; electrical circuits with capacitors; magnetic fields; electromagnetism; physical and geometric optics; and quantum, atomic, and nuclear physics.
