a 4x4 schedule (in which students complete a year-long
course in one semester). In Choir 9,10, students will
continue to develop their vocal technique and
musicianship. They will analyze texture, modulations,
cadences, and form, and will arrange and harmonize
melodies using standard notation. In a unit on music
careers, students will select and research a music career
that interests them. New connections will be made
between each student and the ensemble through basic
