Course Description: | |
This course introduces students in the field of public art, where creativity, community, and civic engagement intersect. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students will explore the history, theory, and practice of public art, examining its role in shaping cultural identity, fostering dialogue, and transforming public spaces. They will engage and create a variety of public art forms critically analyzing how these works reflect and respond to social, political, and environmental issues. | |
