| This athletics class is for students looking to
advance their physical health and understanding of how
to incorporate fitness into their daily routines. On top of
enhanced options for group athletics, such as
competitive team and individual sports, students also
engage in drills to enhance muscular and cardiovascular
endurance and strength. They learn about how the body
works and how to most effectively optimize their training.
Also, in accordance with state standards, they develop
cooperative skills that can be applied throughout other
