Intro To Wellness (0205)    - PILOT COURSE -


Pilot Site:
 This is a pilot course for Knox Middle School. Other schools may not offer this course without prior approval from the Interdivisional Curriculum Committee.

 7–8

 None.
 Course duration:
 Year long.
Course Description:
 Intro to Wellness students will learn about making healthy decisions, proactive wellness approaches, and carriers in the health and wellness field. Students will learn about nutrition, healthy habits, and preventative care. Students may participate in field trips and hear from guest speakers in the wellness field (Nursing, EMT, Lifeguard, Firefighter, Doctor, X-ray tech, etc.) Students will learn about career pathways in the Health and Wellness field.
