Pilot Site:
 This is a pilot course for Henry and Mira Mesa High Schools. Other schools may not offer this course without prior approval from the Interdivisional Curriculum committee.

Course Description:
 This year-long course is a concentrator in the Design, Visual and Media Arts Pathway with an emphasis on Screen Printing Fundamentals combined with Graphic Design principles. This course will focus on development of a professional portfolio that reflects the students experience to date. Portfolio material must contain examples based on market research, current economics, include a sample budget and demonstrate creative development and design. Emphasis will also be placed on public relations, information design, advertising, branding, promotion, product /service management, pricing, and distribution.
