Students who complete this course with a grade of A, B or C (both semesters) and an A or B on the college end of course exam are eligible to earn up to 3 units of community college credit.

Course Description:
 This course provides instruction in media technology and production. Instruction covers audio and video production, computer graphics and animation, and multimedia presentations, as well as the use of video recorders, cameras, projectors, special-effects generators, audio mixers, electronic keyboards, computers, scanners, digitizers, and printers. The media-production skills learned in this course also enhance the qualifications of students intending to work as graphic artists, photographers, programmers, and musicians. Employment possibilities include Web designer, animator, sound technician and video- production assistant. Self-employment in the areas of video production, music, and graphic design also is possible.
