Course Description:
 This course is designed for students who have demonstrated aptitude for drawing and painting from the foundational art courses as well as the desire to pursue the arts pathway. Through hands-on practice and studies of cultural, historical, and contemporary artistic trends, students will explore advanced techniques and concepts in drawing and painting across various mediums. Emphasis will be placed on individual artistic exploration and experimentation, encouraging students to develop their unique artistic voice while refining their technical proficiency. Students will individually engage in developing, refining, and creating a series of works that fosters critical thinking and creative problem-solving as well as working collaboratively.
