Notes:
 Under Administrative Procedure 4771, Alternative Means of Satisfying the Prescribed Course of Study, this course may be used to fulfill the Visual and Performing Arts high school graduation requirement.

Students completing Photographic Imaging 1,2 with a grade of A or B (both semesters) and on the final exam are eligible to earn up to 3 units of community college credit.

Course Description:
 This course provides advanced training in digital photography and includes instruction in composition and color dynamics in the field of digital media. The course focuses on the communication of ideas through photography, as well as light and environmental controls. Students use digital cameras, scanners, computers, and high-end printers to produce projects related to the industry. Training in the use of specialized software for photo editing and image manipulation is incorporated into the instructional plan.
