Course Description:
 Child Psychology and Development 1,2 will explore the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development in utero through preadolescence. Topics studied include major theories of child development, the neuroscience of learning and characteristics of typical and atypical development.

Studies also include biological and environmental factors such as health, safety, nutrition and interaction styles that influence the development of infants, toddlers and children.
