The San Diego Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical High School (the San Diego Met ) follows the Big Picture Learning educational program. Big Picture Learning is a nonprofit educational organization that has developed a program in which students spend considerable time doing real work in the community under the tutelage of volunteer mentors. Big Pictures courses have their own district course numbers and may be identified by the (BP) in their course titles. Big Picture courses are in use only at the San Diego Met.
