Course Description:
 This course provides an in-depth study of world history from the rise of democratic ideas to the contemporary world. Students develop advanced skills in analyzing historical, cultural, social, economic, and geographical issues in a global context. Students explore connections between local, national, and global issues. The course culminates with a critical examination of the problems of the modern world.
