Beginning Musical Theatre 6th-7th (5524)    - PILOT COURSE -


Pilot Site:
 Pilot course for the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). Other schools may not offer this course without prior approval from the Interdivisional Curriculum Committee.

 Two semesters.
Course Description:
 This beginning middle school musical theatre course provides students in grades 6th and 7th the opportunity to explore ensemble work through the lens of the Broadway Musical. Students in this course will acquire a knowledge base of Broadway Music as well as receive experience on how to be part of an ensemble.

Students will also participate in a rigorous rehearsal and performance schedule as they hone the skills of their craft.
