World Languages Exploration (2044)    - SITE ADOPTED COURSE -

 Course duration:
 One semester. May be taught as a six-week (2044X), nine-week (2044Q), or 12-week (2044Z) portion of an 18-week wheel course. May be repeated for credit.
Course Description:
 This one-semester exploratory course is designed to introduce students to world-language study in a nonthreatening way. The first half of the semester is spent learning Spanish, the second half learning French. Students who take this course will learn to pronounce many of the basic sounds found in both languages with a fair amount of accuracy, and will be able to understand simple dialogue.
