Course Description:
 Ceramics 3,4 is for students in their second year of high school ceramics studies. This studio course provides advanced study in hand-built and wheel-thrown construction methods. Students design and apply innovative surface decoration and glazing methods while experimenting with ceramic bodies, including lidded containers, wall pieces, and sculpture. Students develop, refine, and create a series of ceramic objects based on existing works. Individually, students analyze and select their own work for presentation. Collaboratively, they curate an exhibit based on a theme.
