This two-semester project-based course prepares middle school students to successfully meet the 21st century demands of higher education and the workplace through the hands-on use of technology. The course is divided into 6 six-week units, with each unit addressing one of the six National Educational Technology Standards for students. Areas addressed include word processing, databases, spreadsheets, presentations, graphic organizing, Internet searching, and website design and evaluation. | |
