History–Social Studies Grade TK 

Students begin to understand that being a good citizen involves acting in certain ways. With prompting and support, they follow the rules (e.g., sharing and taking turns) and understand the consequences of breaking them. Students begin to learn concepts of honesty and individual responsibility. Students begin to understand that people and events happened in the past. Students begin to explore their neighborhoods.
