Course Description: |
| This course and History of the Americas HL2 1,2 IB together form an integrated two-year course of study that prepares students to take the IB Higher Level (HL) exam in history. The curriculum prepares them for both the regional studies portion of the HL exam (The Americas: Topics in Canadian, U.S., and Latin American history) and the world history portion (20th century world history) by examining issues from both international and U.S. perspectives. Together, the two courses satisfy the Group 3 (Individuals and Societies) requirement for the International Baccalaureate diploma. |
