Course Description:
 In addition to providing opportunities for student discussion, group study, panels, simulations, and presentations, this course encourages the better-prepared and more interested students, either singly or in groups, to do research and/or conduct field projects on issues that interest them and then to share the results or findings in a presentation. Areas of exploration include current issues in juvenile law, probation law, penal reform, narcotics, marriage and divorce, student rights, and consumer protection, among others.
