Course Description:
 This course examines the development of world political, economic, social, and cultural systems through an intensive study of representative regions and cultural groups. Study is designed to lead students to a greater understanding of contemporary economic and political systems and issues. The course is designed to enable students to develop decision-making and critical-thinking skills, which will help them function effectively and understand the world in which they live.
