Course Description:
 Music Composition and Creation 2 is the second course of the middle school student’s music and digital media education. This second year of instruction requires a deeper level of music literacy and application of the elements of music through composition. Through project based learning, students will learn, apply, and demonstrate an understanding of the proficient-accomplished level of the California Arts Standards: Music Composition and Theory through music technology. Students will organize and develop musical ideas from a variety of sources through development, reflection, and analysis of the technical and expressive elements, skills, and knowledge of music.
