Course Description: | |
This elective ninth-grade survey course explores the history of the universe and how individuals fit into it, the stars and planets, Earth and its inhabitants, humans and human society, industrialism, to today. It seeks to find patterns and meaning, using the widest base of historical phenomena/scientific history by examining historic events or processes. This course hones students’ critical thinking and analysis skills and prepares them to take advanced-level courses later. | |
